Casey's Chicken/Turkey Tortilla Soup

Casey the Puppy Tutubuddy made a very large batch of chicken and turkey tortilla soup for everyone! It's healthy, delicious, and if there's too much, it's easy to freeze.

For the soup base Casey used:

1 gallon of water
1 Large turkey bone
1 Meal's worth of chicken fat
3 Cloves of garlic
1/2 Onion
Salt to taste
2 Tablespoons of Annatto (Annatto is an amazingly delicious spice from Mexico and South America. Usually it's used to dye food colors, but also has an amazing flavor. You can find it in Mexican stores or Amazon: Amazon Annatto)
1 Tablespoon of canned basil (can't wait for the fresh to pop up!)
1 Teaspoon of liquid smoke
5 Teaspoons hot sauce

Make the soup base using Cheap Tasty Soup Base

Casey added into the soup:
1 can of corn
1 1lb can of white beans (Casey has tried dried beans many times, but never seems to get them cooked enough so has given up for easier canned beans.)
2 chicken breasts- cooked

Add sour cream immediately before serving- sour cream with chives is especially tasty

Add crunchy pieces- add only immediately before serving. Casey especially likes adding:
Tortilla chips, blue tortilla chips, cheesy Doritos, goldfish, French fried onions, Fritos, or a mixture of all of the above!

Casey's favorite is a mixture of Doritos, blue tortilla chips, and yellow tortilla chips. Yum!

Shortcut Section:

Use chicken bullion, canned or frozen vegetables (they're pre-cut,) and pre-cooked chicken (you can find it in the fridge meat section of your grocery store.)
