These are super simple and easy to make- but make a delicious snack! It's especially perfect for kids' sports events- the protein gives them energy, while the natural sweetness makes the food appetizing, and the milk helps build growing bones. Give them to your child before football, soccer, baseball, gymnastics, or anywhere! Yummy!
This time Mindy only made 9 Peanut Butter Balls because she just wanted a snack with a friend- to make more increase the amount of everything.
4 Tablespoons Powdered Milk
2/3 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Tablespoons Honey
Mindy is using 99% cocoa here- which is very tasty! You can also use chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, fresh apple pieces, ect. (The fresh apple pieces are especially good in this- and makes the Peanut Butter Balls healthier!)
Either Powdered Sugar OR Cocoa Powder
These ingredients are great because it takes forever for them to go bad- so you can always have them around for when you need a quick batch to satisfy your craving!
First measure the powdered milk and place in bowl (the spoons aren't sticky yet!)
Put in peanut butter and honey.
Mix! Kids love to help out with the mixing. I remember how fun it was making these with my mother.
Add chocolate chips, or whatever you've decided to put in.
Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar (so they don't get sticky.) Put in container or place on cookie sheet.
Place in fridge. They will be done in 1 hour.
|Yum! I can't wait!|
See! Easy! It's like a super simple, easier (and healthier!) chocolate chip cookie!
(Note: Making Peanut Butter Balls with dried cranberries rolled in dark chocolate cocoa powder is amazing!)
