Black Forest Brownie Recipe

Betty The Bunny made some delicious Black Forest Brownies. They were delicious and everyone loved them! They're decadent with dark chocolate, fudge, and tart cherries!

Ingredients You Will Need:

1 2/3 Cups Softened Butter
2 2/3 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
1-2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract (Mexican Vanilla Extract is best and I highly recommend the 2 tablespoons, but if you're trying to save money then 1 is ok too.)
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Hershey Special Dark Baking Cocoa (it's soooo much better than reguarl baking cocoa.)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Can 21 Oz Cherry Pie Filling
1/2 Can Fudge

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.

Cream 1 2/3 Cups Sugar and 1 2/3 Cups softened butter.

Add the 4 eggs, tablespoons of vanilla extract, 2 cups flour, 1 cup dark baking cocoa, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix together.

Pour mixture into 7X11X2 inch pan.

Pour 1/2 can of cherry pie filling and 1/2 can fudge over brownie batter.

Take a knife and swirl the fudge and cherries.

Put in oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Betty likes to check after 25 minutes to make sure she doesn't overcook them, but it often takes 40 minutes for the brownies to finish. WARNING! The knife test will not work for these brownies! They're so fudgy that the knife will always come out moist. The best way to see if they're done is to shake the pan- if it's still liquidy in the middle it's not done.

Now enjoy these sinfully decedent and delicious brownies!
