Slow Cooker Potato and Green Beans Recipe




Olli the owl Fluffiefriend wanted to make a delicious dish on the side of some Flavorful Fried Chicken. Mmmm... potatoes and green beans sound pretty good!

Ingredients You'll Need:

5 Slices of Bacon
Olive Oil
Garlic Salt
3 Chives
12 Russet Potatoes
1 Pound Green Beans

Directions:

Wash green beans and potatoes. Dry thoroughly. Place bacon in the bottom of the crock pot.

Pour olive oil in a bowl and garlic salt on a plate (or bowl.)

Take potatoes and roll them in the olive oil.


Roll the potatoes in garlic salt.

Place in slow cooker.

Cut chives into the cock pot on top of the potatoes.


Put 4 green beans on top of the potatoes.



Turn slow cooker on high and cook for 3-5 hours.


About 10 minutes before dinner place rest of the green beans in the crock pot.


Leave them in just long enough so that the green beans turn a bright green, but aren't browned or soft.


Stir the green beans and potatoes. Place on the side of your favorite meal. It goes great with fried chicken, but it would probably be amazing with steak (like Pot Roast, Easy Steak, or Bacon Stuffed Steak.) Sooooo good!
