Dayton has been one of my most favorite places to live for 3 reasons: 1. There's a ton to do 2. Autumn leaves 3. Spring flowers. I have never lived in a place with such a gorgeous variety before (this is the 7th state I've lived in.) So to add to my "Things To Do In Dayton Ohio" I'm adding- see the blossoms! Holy cow, there are a lot of them! Between the free parks, the wildflowers, flowering trees planted along the roads, and peoples' gardens, there are a lot of flowers to see! I lovelovelove spring in Dayton, Ohio. Come on over and see for yourself!
Cox ArboretumCox Arboretum is gorgeous all year round, but I tend to go to it the most in the spring. It's also the park I visit the most in the spring. The gardens are incredible, absolutely out-of-this world. Henrietta the hippo Tutubuddy recently had a Princess Day At Cox and enjoyed it very much!.

Wegerzyn gardens are also beautiful. In general, I like going there more in the late spring, then you see the gorgeous flowers in their lovely Victorian-style gardens. Plus there's a fun and beautiful little children's garden for the kids!

Eastwood ParkEastwood Park is one of my favorites. While it doesn't have as many flowers as Cox Arboretum or Wegerzyn Gardens, the flowers that are there are in spectacular places! Enjoy a sunset over a lake by a blossoming pear tree, or next to a gorgeous, old-fashioned stone bridge leading to islands, or enjoy the rain in the cherry and pear grove as the raindrops and petals fall on you.

Hills and DalesThe daffodils and dogwoods are gorgeous at Hills and Dales. Puppy Jr recently visited Hills and Dales specifically to see the pretty flowers!
