Making Berries Last

Sorry it's been a while- had a lovely knitting needle accident then got sick and ended up in the ER. :P So this little trick has been especially helpful lately. I've been enjoying a lot of berries lately (especially in my Berries 'N Cream Pancakes) and have needed to keep the berries fresh (especially strawberries and raspberries!) Oliver the Owl Fluffiefriend found a clever way!

You'll Need:

1 Part Vinegar (white or apple cider)
10 Parts Water

Directions:

Mix vinegar and water in a bowl.

Dip the berried into the mixture.

It keep the berries so fresh! It's really great because if you want to just grab some berries on the go you don't have to stop and wash them- they're already washed! And no more mold! I've used raspberries a week and a half after washing them and they're still good! Try it- it really works!
