Melt In Your Mouth Buttery Chicken with Caramelized Onions



Taddles The Turtle Fluffiefriend decided to make some delicious chicken! So was born buttery chicken.

Ingredients You'll Need:

1/2 White Onion
1/2 Chicken
1/2 Stick Butter
3 Sprigs of Dill
2 Cloves Garlic
Onion Salt
Green Beans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take the inner circles of the onion out- leaving the outermost 3 or 4 rings together. Place the outer shell of 3 or 4 rings on pan. Place half a chicken over the onion so that the onion is resting inside the cavity of the chicken- this will help keep the chicken moist.

Take 1/2 stick of butter and rub the chicken's skin with it thoroughly.

Slice up what's left of the butter and put slivers under the wing and drumstick, on the skin, and under the chicken, with the onion.

Take the inner onion rings and slide them onto the drumstick and wing. Place 3 sprigs of dill and 2 cloves (uncut) of garlic around the chicken. Sprinkle with onion salt. Cover chicken with tin foil and place chicken in oven until about 15 minutes from finishing.

Take chicken out, put oven at 400 degrees.Place green beans around chicken and place it back in oven. Cook until chicken is at 165 degrees on the inside. Serve and enjoy!
