Cookie Dough Pancakes Recipe

Valentine The Teddy Bear decided to make some delicious chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes.  It's perfect for starting the morning in a lovely way or after a fun sleepover (for kids or girls' nights.) If you love cookies or cookie dough these are the pancakes for you!

1/2 Cup Milk
1 Tablespoon and 1 Teaspoon White Vinegar
1 Cup Flour
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons Butter
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Bittersweet Chocolate Chips

Mix 1/2 cup milk  1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon white vinegar. Set aside to curdle.
In a bowl add 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix.
Add 1 egg and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Melt the 3 tablespoons of butter and add to mix. Pour the curdled milk into the mix. Whip with a whisk.

Add 1 cup chocolate chips.
Put a slice of butter in pan and let it melt. Pour some of the pancake batter on pan. Cook like a regular pancake, flip and cook more.
I liked to leave the centers slightly uncooked so it'll be more like cookie dough.

Rosie the Pink Turtle Picks Columbus Park of Roses

Rosie The Pink Turtle Fluffiefriend went to Columbus Park of Roses to make beautiful hair wreaths! “Wow! What gorgeous roses!” She exclaimed, “And they smell so lovely!”

“These ones are pink, like me!”

“These roses look like gold!”

“Oooo! A fountain! I love to splash around and play in water!”
Splish splash! Splish splash!

“Oh my, how high that is!” Said Rosie, looking up at the gazebo on stilts! Rosie gathered her courage and went up, up, up the winding steps and into the gazebo. Wow, was it worth it!
“What a view!” Rosie sang, “Look how many beautiful roses there are!”

“There are so many roses in so many colors- how can I pick?!” Rosie loved walking around all the roses in the morning, but it was time to leave.

“I’ll be back again!” She promised.

Summer Garden Ice Cream

Rainbow The My Personal Unicorn decided to make some delicious summer garden ice cream. It's a creamy, dreamy treat that has the tangy-sweet taste of a sunny summer day. Vanilla, almond ice cream with bitter bites of lime and blackberries, the fresh flavor of mint, and gooey honey swirls.

3/4 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Small Lime
1 Pinch Salt
1 Package Blackberries
8 Leaves Fresh Mint
1/4 Cup Honey

Grate the lime into fresh zest on a plate.

In a bowl mix 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 3/4 cup vanilla almond milk, pinch of salt, and fresh lime zest.
Mix ice cream in an ice cream maker.

Tear pieces of mint into the ice cream mix.
Mix the ice cream until it thickens. Gently add the blackberries.

Slowly pour the 1/4 cup honey into the ice cream, gently folding it so that the honey doesn't mix, it creates ribbons.

Serve and enjoy- it's a delicious way to celebrate or remember summer!

To give it a more autumn flavor, put the ice cream on top of some home-made blackberry cobbler!
