Home Made Garlic Bread Recipe

Home made garlic bread is delicious- it's warm and comforting. It goes great with Italian food or just any time you'd like to add a little something to a nice, hearty meal. I recently made it to go along with my Beef Pot Roast one very, very cold day. It was delicious! (I was tempted to just grab one from the store, but when I looked at the ingredients I put it back. Plus this isn't terribly hard.)

Ingredients You'll Need:

1 Loaf of Bread (French and Italian are good, but you can use any type you prefer.)
2 Cloves Garlic- Minced
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
6 Tablespoons of Butter
(Optional- 1 Teaspoon Parsley or Dill)

Directions:

Preheat oven to broil (or in toaster oven set on the toast setting.) In a small pot place butter, minced garlic, and garlic salt.
Cook on medium heat until butter is melted and garlic is tender, not brown. Use a spoon or brush to pour garlic butter mixture over the bread.

Place in pan and put in oven. Keep a very, very, very close eye on it! It will be done in just a couple of minutes and you don't want to burn it, just brown it. (It'll probably take about 5 minutes.) Slice up and enjoy! It's so soft and crunchy with that delicious butter-garlic flavor!
