Rainbow Ice

It was still super cold after making the Ice Matryoshki so Seamore The Seal Fluffiefriend and I came up with something new- rainbow ice. It looks pretty, brings a little of spring into your snowy garden, is easy, and you can use it to help small children learn the rainbow- ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.)

Things You'll Need:

Freezing Cold Weather
Water that was Boiled then Cooled
Food Coloring
A Bowl
A Measuring Cup (or a Smaller Bowl)

First make sure you can fit 7 cup or smaller bowl fulls of water into the larger bowl with some extra room (after all, ice expands!) Fill the smaller cup with water and add two drops of red food coloring. Pour into larger bowl. Set outside to freeze. Once it's completely frozen mix one drop of yellow and one of red food coloring in the smaller bowl. Pour over red ice. Set outside to freeze. Continue doing this until you have a rainbow. Take ice out of the bowl. (You may need to run the bowl under hot water.) Place ice on porch, in garden, wherever so you can enjoy!
