Mmmmmm, these mashed potatoes are amazing! Once we started eating them we really couldn't stop! Hearty mashed potatoes littered with smoky thick-cut bacon with a bit of a bite make a delightful side to your meal. (Though the first time I made this it ended up being our entire meal because we couldn't stop eating them!) Delicious, filling, and oh so satisfying. Seamore The Seal Fluffiefriend helped out!
Ingredients You'll Need:3 Potatoes
1/2 Pack Thick Cut Bacon
2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
2 Cloves Garlic
3/4 Cup Milk
Directions:Cut and boil the potatoes. Cook them until tender.
Meanwhile, place the bacon in a pan and pour 1 tablespoon of black pepper over it. Cook on medium-high heat.
Chop the garlic. Turn the bacon over and pour 1 tablespoon of black pepper over the other side. Continue cooking until the bacon is very nice and crispy. Remove bacon and put in a separate bowl.

Remove about half the grease left by the bacon (and store to use it to cook Pancakes later!) Still on medium-high heat add the garlic.
Cook the garlic until it is tender, but before it changes color. Add milk and cook on low heat. You can add some parsley or dill at this point, it's delicious.
Mash the potatoes. Pour the garlic/milk mixture into the potatoes and stir.
Break up the bacon into small chunks. Add to the potatoes and stir.
Serve and enjoy and boy oh boy will you enjoy!
